Jacksonville’s very own Palm Trees & Power Lines recently played the Oz Music Festival at UNF on Friday April 7th, 2017. The festival showcased talent from Tove Lo, The Mowglis, Palm Trees & Power Lines and recent rising star, Daya.
This was not the first festival appearance from this promising young four piece. After their first EP, High Hopes, was released in November 2013, the band was welcomed to play the Vans Warped Tour show in Orlando and again Warped Tour came to Jacksonville in 2015. Their success and recognition only continued to grow from there, and they have since also been featured on News4Jax, NBC, ABC, and CBS affiliates.
A fellow music blog in the scene, EchtTunes originally sat down with PT&PL to talk with the band at the festival but their interview was never posted.
