Some incredible new music from Linkin Park founder and co-vocalist Mike Shinoda has just dropped on all music streaming & purchasing services, and is available now for your listening delight and pleasure!
Released early Thursday morning as the Post Traumatic EP, the brand new tracks (“Place To Start”, “Over Again” and “Watching As I Fall”) were first hinted by Shinoda on his social media accounts on Wednesday night:

When Mike live premiered a song that was at that time a work in progress, called ‘Looking For An Answer’, at the Hollywood Bowl Tribute Concert in October of last year, the singer commented that “One of the things that always helps me get through something is not only listening to music, but actually playing music.” This led to the creation of ‘Looking For An Answer’ just a week after the passing of Chester Bennington.
At the time of the song’s first performance, it was uncertain whether Shinoda had any plans to continue working on other music besides that song. But with the sudden release of these three new tracks, it appears that despite the uncertain nature of Linkin Park’s future, fans can still look forward to new music from Mike.
Premiering on streaming services and accompanied by video visuals on YouTube, these three new tracks are notable for the fact that they are not being released under any of Mike Shinoda‘s existing projects or stage monikers. Aside from Linkin Park, Shinoda has also released material under the name Fort Minor, a solo project featuring other artists. The debut Fort Minor album The Rising Tied was released in 2005 with single ‘Where’d You Go’ reaching fourth place on the Billboard Hot 100. In June 2015, Shinoda released the single ‘Welcome’ under the Fort Minor name.
