Halestorm have released “Mayhem” from their upcoming album Into the Wild Life set to drop in April, with “Apocalyptic” being the album’s first tease. Fans might recognize the single from their performance in Manchester, UK a year ago, when the band surprised the crowd so early in their third album’s stages.
Different than on previous records, Halestorm recorded their newest record live inside a church, to capture the energy of the band’s fantastic live performances.
“We did all the tracks live,” Hale recently told Loudwire, “just the four of us standing in a circle in this beautiful church in Nashville. The goal was to capture performances and moments that the four of us only know when we’re in our practice space….
“It really helped us grow because just when I thought you know the four of us couldn’t get any tighter… we found something in ourselves again.”
Halestorm will tour this spring with The Pretty Reckless, and their upcoming record Into the Wild Life will be unleashed in Europe first, starting April 12th.
