Following his just-concluded, wildly successful UK arena tour, Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famerย Aliceย Cooperย hasย announced his Springย 2020ย tour plans. He will extendย theย “Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back” show, whichย debuted in Summer 2019 to the delight of fans, into the new year.ย The Spring 2020ย legย of the tour kicks off on April 1 in Peterborough, Ontario and runs through April 22 in Portland, Oregon. These dates will feature special guestย Lita Ford.
The legendary rockerย will also return toย the road for the Fall 2019 leg of the tour. The trek begins onย November 3 in Florida before wrapping on November 30 in Illinois.
After a break for the holiday season, Aliceย will take “Ol’ย Black Eyes Is Back”ย to Australia and New Zealand in February 2020.

In other Alice Cooper news, the artistย released hisย The Breadcrumbsย EP,ย a tribute to some of the garage rock heroes from his hometown Detroit, on September 13 via earMUSIC.ย Inspired by the city’s punk scene in the late ’60sย and early ’70s, theย Detroit-born iconย returnedย to his roots and the raw garage sound his fans love.ย The Bob Ezrin-producedย EP consists of sixย brand new recordings, featuring legendaryย Detroit musicians, including Johnny “Bee”ย Badanjek from the Detroit Wheels, Grand Funk’s Mark Farner, and MC5’s Wayne Kramer. Itย was recorded at Rust Belt Studios inย Detroit.ย The openerย “Detroit City 2020” isย an updated rewrite of “Detroit City”ย from 2003’sย The Eyes of Alice Cooperย and itย sets the tone for the EP. Along with Cooper’sย own take on Detroitย rock classics such as Suzi Quatro’sย “Your Mama Won’t Like Me,”ย Bob Seger’s “East Side Story,”ย the MC5’s “Sister Anne,”ย and Shorty Long’s “Devil With aย Blue Dress On,”ย as well as The Dirtbombs’ย “Chains of Love,”ย the EP also features the brand-new Alice Cooper original “Go Man Go.”
