Dan Estrin is best known as the guitarist and backup vocalist for the rock band Hoobastank. Formed in 1994, the band began making a name for themselves in the California music scene. In 2001, they released their breakthrough self-titled album, which featured the hit singles “Crawling in the Dark” and “Running Away.” The album introduced the world to this incredible band and paved the way for them to release their explosively successful follow-up The Reason.
Recently the band premiered a docu-series discussing the impact of their first album, and Dan was kind enough to join us for this podcast to talk about their early days. Watch the video version of this podcast below. Audio versions of this, and other podcast episodes will be coming within the next few months.
