Parkway Drive has announced their latest studio album, Ire, which is set to be released on September 25th via Epitaph. This is the fifth album from the metal core band. Their last album, Atlas, was released back in 2012 and received generally positive reviews from critics.
In a recent press release on the album, vocalist Winston McCall stated,
“Every single step of the way, whenever there was gamble to take, we took the biggest one we could. If this isn’t the album that can go further than anything we thought was possible with this band and this type of music, that’s fine, but we can’t go back from this as far as we’re concerned.”
The band also debuted its lead single from the album, “Vice Grip”, which can be viewed below:
Previously, the band was seen performing at the Rock am Ring festival in Germany. The band did an amazing cover of Rage Against The Machine’s “Bulls On Parade”. Check it out:
