Irontom<\/a> <\/b>are, quite literally, \u201cones to watch\u201d. The Los Angeles-based quintet consisting of <\/span>\u0417\u0430\u043a \u0410\u0439\u0440\u043e\u043d\u0441<\/b> (\u0433\u0438\u0442\u0430\u0440\u0430), <\/span>Harry Hayes<\/b> (\u0432\u043e\u043a\u0430\u043b), <\/span>Dane Sandborg<\/b> (\u0431\u0430\u0441), <\/span>Dan Saslow<\/b> (keys), and <\/span>Dyl Williams<\/b> (drums) recently wrapped the <\/span>Ones to Watch<\/span><\/i> tour, where they shared the bill with Vinyl Theatre and Finish Ticket. Since coming off the road, they have been in the studio working on their debut album with <\/span>AWOLNATION\u2019s<\/a><\/b> Aaron Bruno serving as producer. <\/span>Irontom\u2019s <\/b>sound marries much of today\u2019s indie-rock trends with the free spirited vibes of the \u201860\u2019s and 70\u2019s, as if The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys came up during the Woodstock era. <\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve been lucky enough to catch <\/span>Irontom<\/b> live within the last year, you may have noticed their latest release, <\/span>Irontom Compilation<\/span><\/i>, being peddled at their merch table. <\/span>Irontom Compilation<\/span><\/i> consists of most of the songs they have released since their inception in late 2012. Most songs from 2012\u2019s <\/span>Loose EP <\/span><\/i>and 2013\u2019s <\/span>Nitro EP<\/span><\/i> made the cut, as well as an AMAZING cover of Gorillaz\u2019<\/strong> \u201cFeel Good Inc.\u201d. Most notably included on <\/span>Irontom Compilation<\/span><\/i> are Irontom\u2019s<\/strong> three singles, \u201cYour Mother\u201d, \u201cIn The Day and The Dark\u201d, and \u201cThe Minista\u201d. The video for \u201cThe Minista\u201d has a ton of star power behind it: <\/span>\u00a0David LeRoy Anderson, Academy Award winning makeup artist (Men in Black, American Horror Story), collaborated with Irontom<\/strong> to provide the video\u2019s special effects and makeup, and the one and only Charlie Sheen makes a cameo appearance at the end. Sheen\u2019s quite the Irontom<\/strong> fan himself, saying <\/span>\u201cIt\u2019s like Led Zeppelin and The Beatles had a baby, and it was raised by wolves\u201d<\/span><\/a>. If a public endorsement from Charlie Sheen isn\u2019t enough to at least <\/span>slightly<\/span><\/i> pique your interest in Irontom<\/strong>, I don\u2019t know what else will.<\/span><\/p>\n
