Goo Goo Dolls have announced Summer Anthem<\/em>, a seven-track EP set for release August 22 via Warner Records. The launch aligns with the band\u2019s sold-out Summer Anthem Tour<\/em> \u043f\u043e\u043a\u0430\u0437\u044b\u0432\u0430\u044f \u041f\u0440\u0438\u0431\u043e\u0440\u043d\u0430\u044f \u043f\u0430\u043d\u0435\u043b\u044c \u0438\u0441\u043f\u043e\u0432\u0435\u0434\u0430\u043b\u044c\u043d\u044f<\/a>, which has already sold over 300,000 tickets for nearly 50 shows across North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new single, \u201cNot Goodbye (Close My Eyes),\u201d arrives today alongside a lyric video. Written by John Rzeznik and produced by Gregg Wattenberg (John Legend, Santana, Noah Kahan) and Grant Michaels (Weezer, Billy Idol, Jewel), the track explores the transience of life and the stillness found in acceptance. \u201cIt\u2019s a song about accepting the inevitability of mortality and how life is constantly in flux,\u201d Rzeznik shared in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
