llinois-based rock duo\u00a0\u042d\u0448\u043b\u0435\u043d\u0434<\/strong>\u00a0(former Rise Records) have released the official music video for their single \u201cChoose to Live,\u201d which can be streamed now on\u00a0\u042e\u0442\u0443\u0431<\/a>. The track details vocalist Asia Marie\u2019s struggles with \u043f\u0441\u0438\u0445\u0438\u0447\u0435\u0441\u043a\u043e\u0435 \u0437\u0434\u043e\u0440\u043e\u0432\u044c\u0435<\/a> and finding a way out of that darkness, and is featured on the band\u2019s\u00a0recent EP\u00a0\u044f<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

“As a suicide survivor, I wanted \u2018Choose To Live\u2019 to be a wake-up call to others who are struggling. It\u2019s about the power of our thoughts and where we choose to place our identity. There is a time for mourning, but if we continue to dwell on our pain, we remain in bondage to it. After the release of their sophomore album\u00a0\u041d\u0430\u0434 \u041b\u0443\u043d\u043e\u0439<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(2019, Rise Records) Ashland took the first half of 2020 to zoom out and look at their career through a wide lens. As the meaning behind their band name states, beauty and growth will rise from the ashes. The duo began furiously writing new songs and reconnecting to their roots musically and lyrically, putting all of the aggression and anguish that was 2019-2020 into song. The result is their new EP\u00a0\u044f<\/em>, officially released in April 2021.<\/p>\n
