White Denim<\/strong> today released their first-ever live album In Person <\/em>via Radio Milk Records and announced a spring 2020 headline West Coast tour. In Person <\/em>is a dynamic 23-song set that features heavily from recent acclaimed albums \u041f\u0440\u043e\u0438\u0437\u0432\u043e\u0434\u0438\u0442\u0435\u043b\u044c\u043d\u043e\u0441\u0442\u044c<\/em> \u0438 Side Effects<\/em>, while also going as far back as the band\u2019s earliest output from 2007-2009 and including an unreleased new song (\u201cYu Wanted 2\u201d). Recorded in August 2019 from the backyard stage at Radio Milk- the band’s East Austin studio- In Person<\/em> showcases White Denim in peak form.<\/p>\n

Next year\u2019s tour begins at Denver\u2019s Bluebird Theatre on March 28th, with Chris Forsyth<\/strong> supporting on all dates. The 2020 tour also sees White Denim returning to Portland, this time at Wonder Ballroom following two sold-out shows at Doug Fir in 2019, and moving to The Fillmore in San Francisco after this year’s sellout of The Independent. \u201cA few years ago, we bought an old house in east Austin and began making records there,\u201d<\/em> James Petralli<\/strong> explains on the origins of Radio Milk and In Person<\/em>.\u00a0\u201cA year or so later we built a stage in the backyard and began hosting music events. We quickly realized that we had the rare ability to record these low-key backyard shows with exceptional fidelity simply by running long cables from the cutting room inside to the stage in the back.\u00a0After all of these years performing around the world we feel that we have created a White Denim recording that properly captures the energy of what we do on a stage.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
