\"\"10. Cradle Of Filth \u2013\u00a0Cryptoriana<\/strong><\/p>\n

A beautifully brutal over the top album inspired by the horror stories of the Victorian era. Cradle of Filth delivers what they\u2019re best at, and for fans this is another jewel in the Filth\u2019s\u00a0crown. However newcomers\u00a0symphonic black metal might want to start somewhere else.<\/p>\n

\"\"9. 36\u00a0Crazyfists – Lanterns\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shows off some of\u00a0the\u00a0brilliant songwriting we have come to expect from 36\u00a0Crazyfists,\u00a0there is ample heaviness, but also enough catchy hooks and melodies to keep the album fairly accessible.\u00a0The songs are raw and emotional, and there is also some acoustic parts and grove metal sections which all add up to make it an enduring, interesting album.<\/p>\n

\"\"8. \u0421\u0442\u0430\u043b\u044c\u043d\u0430\u044f \u043f\u0430\u043d\u0442\u0435\u0440\u0430<\/a> – Lower The Bar<\/strong><\/p>\n

If anything is ever getting you down then a listen to Steel Panther will quickly remedy that. It has to be admitted that they aren\u2019t really anything more than a parody of all of our favorite Hair metal bands, but there is nothing wrong with a bit of lighthearted fun and a few (ok a lot of) dick jokes. Creatively and\u00a0musically Lower The Bar is sound,\u00a0its reassuringly familiar, but\u00a0doesn\u2019t get\u00a0boring. Never has the old phrase \u201cdon\u2019t fix what ain\u2019t broke\u201d been more true and with the originals like Motley\u00a0Crue now retired, Steel Panther\u2019s\u00a0blast from the past is more relevant than ever.<\/p>\n

\"\"7. \u041c\u044d\u0440\u0438\u043b\u0438\u043d \u041c\u044d\u043d\u0441\u043e\u043d<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Heaven Upside Down<\/strong><\/p>\n

Combining some classic Manson rage with some of the blues from The Pale Emperor<\/a>, this album takes aim at politics, religion and people in general. Marilyn Manson remains iconic and this album is another great addition to his legacy.<\/p>\n

\"\"6. Prophets of Rage – Prophets Of Rage<\/strong><\/p>\n

With members from RATM, \u041a\u0438\u043f\u0430\u0440\u0438\u0441\u043e\u0432\u044b\u0439 \u0445\u043e\u043b\u043c<\/a> and Public enemy there was\u00a0extremely high expectations for this supergroup\u00a0and their debut album absolutely surpassed them. A politically charged band when the world most needs them, Prophets Of Rage will be instigating great deal of change in peoples thoughts while simultaneously starting hundreds of mosh pits.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/span>5. Bodycount\u00a0-Bloodlust\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pissed off political Rap Thrash Metal isn\u2019t to\u00a0everyone\u2019s taste, but I don\u2019t think Bodycount really care whether you like what they have to say. Addressing Americas issues in every song Bloodlust is as poignant as it is controversial.<\/p>\n

\"\"4. Sons Of Texas – Forged By Fortitude\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Forged By Fortitude showcases a musical intricacy that can\u00a0be uncommon in this genre, full\u00a0of the energy and aggression. Sons\u00a0Of Texas are prime examples of a reliable metal band\u00a0what they lack in originality they make up for in energy. The Sons are good at what they do \u2013\u00a0deliver what the fans want and you can\u2019t ask for any more than that. Overall, Forged By Fortitude is a very satisfying album.<\/p>\n

\"\"3. Fozzy – Judas<\/strong><\/p>\n

WWE Superstar Chris Jericho\u00a0power-slams the competition by releasing one of the most killer albums of the year!\u00a0It\u2019s easily their best release to date with every song as catchy as the last. Although if you\u2019re looking for something\u00a0complex and intricate you might want to give it a miss, but if you like polished,\u00a0American,\u00a0catchy Heavy Metal then your looking in the right place.<\/p>\n

\"\"2. \u041b\u0438\u043d\u043a\u0438\u043d \u041f\u0430\u0440\u043a<\/a> – \u0415\u0449\u0435 \u043e\u0434\u0438\u043d \u0441\u0432\u0435\u0442<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cOne More Light\u201d\u00a0is immensely bittersweet, the listening experience is somewhat tainted by the tragedy of Chester\u2019s death, it leaves the\u00a0listener almost feeling guilty.\u00a0But\u00a0Chester\u2019s visceral emotion is\u00a0 what made us empathize with his music, which in turn helped us through our own dark times.\u00a0\u201cNumb\u201d\u00a0was my first favorite song which just goes to show what a brilliant gateway band\u00a0Linkin Park are, and\u00a0\u201cOne More Light\u201d\u00a0is only going to build on that. While this album is more pop, I firmly believe it will introduce scores of music lovers to rock, metal and alternative through the band’s back catalogue and that is what will keep Chester\u2019s memory alive. I\u2019m also certain this is not the end for\u00a0Linkin Park.<\/p>\n

\"\"1. \u041a\u0430\u043c\u0435\u043d\u043d\u044b\u0439 \u043a\u0438\u0441\u043b\u044b\u0439<\/a> – Hydrograd<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a lot here for Stone Sour fans and\u00a0Hydrograd\u00a0is an\u00a0accessible album so it will gain Stone Sour hoards of new fans as well. The genre crossing showcases Stone Sour\u2019s musical ability and you can really tell they had fun making\u00a0Hydrograd and just did whatever they wanted. Stone Sour certainly haven\u2019t sold out\u00a0and they are definitely no \u201csinking ship\u201d and I am thoroughly excited for what\u2019s next!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
