The four piece are known for their blending of styles, dynamic and intelligent music, which makes <em>\u0412\u043e\u043b\u043a\u0438 <\/em>seem quite simplistic in comparison with their other work. The song displays very competent melodic musicianship, but it is no way ground breaking. Nevertheless, Josh Grosscup\u2019s range is admirable, with the most impressive part being his switch from sincere to brat-punk vocals.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s almost unforgivable to make people listen to a Selena Gomez song however, Megosh still make vast improvements from the original version<em>. <\/em>I\u2019ve noticed a considerable increase in cross genre covers ever since the success of the <em>\u041f\u0430\u043d\u043a \u0441\u0442\u0430\u043d\u043e\u0432\u0438\u0442\u0441\u044f \u043f\u043e\u043f-\u043c\u0443\u0437\u044b\u043a\u043e\u0439<\/em> compilation albums, and while some are fun and a great way to introduce people to new styles of music, others are downright despicable (I\u2019m looking at you <strong>\u041f\u0430\u0434\u0435\u043d\u0438\u0435 \u0432 \u043e\u0431\u0440\u0430\u0442\u043d\u043e\u043c \u043d\u0430\u043f\u0440\u0430\u0432\u043b\u0435\u043d\u0438\u0438<\/strong>).\u00a0 Thankfully going by the video Megosh did this cover for a bit of a laugh, although it has to be admitted that the joke doesn\u2019t quite hit the mark. The downcast, somewhat desperate tone of the song overly juxtaposes with the silly video so the whole thing doesn\u2019t entirely make sense.<\/p>\n<p>Overall I would strongly suggest Megosh stick to their rock roots and individual sound, which is brilliantly showcased on the second single from their debut album Apostasy, <em>Checkerboards &amp; Cigarettes. <\/em>Their cover of<em> \u0412\u043e\u043b\u043a\u0438 <\/em>doesn\u2019t set the world on fire, but it\u2019s a perfectly decent piece of pop punk fun, ideal for playing loudly on a boring winters night and pretending you\u2019re at Warped Tour.
