Luckily Vicious sum up the state of worlds right now perfectly with impactful lyrics like: “Am I losing my mind, or are we racing back through time?” S.O.O will be fast becoming anthem of the year in the minds of all who hear it and understand its message.

However it’s unfair to pigeonhole Vicious as nothing more than a doom & gloom protest band, when in reality the explosive defiance on display in their music is a sign of hope, down to the fact that they aren’t afraid to say what needs to be said even when people don’t want to hear it. And in an age when a lot of songs are artificial and meaningless, it’s reassuring that there are still some musicians willing to fight back and call out the bullshit. S.O.O is a brilliant example of the kind of hard hitting, balls to the wall metal that’s been in decline for the last few years, and now we need it more than ever.

The forceful guitars and powerful base are supplied by Dan Artim, AJ Larsen и Chris Arcand; they provide the ideal backing to Sam Sky’s vocals which switch faultlessly from ear-splitting to melodic. I genuinely can’t wait for them to follow this piece of hardcore gold up with an album, so if you’re already bored of the Christmas tunes, then give S.O.O a spin, you won’t regret it.

Here’s to the impending new year, hopefully things will get better, but to quote Sky, only one thing is for certain “shit’s gotta fucking change.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIv7bhKivXQ

New band and brainchild of ex-I Am King vocalist Sam Sky, Vicious, have released an aggressive new track, S.O.O, with … Читать далее

[2

post-10031","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","generate-columns","tablet-grid-50","mobile-grid-100","grid-parent","grid-50
["GET
