If you’ve been following AltWire since it’s inception back in 2013, you’ll know that there’s no secret how much some of us love the band Linkin Park<\/a><\/strong>. Through their game changing debut record Th\u00e9orie hybride<\/em> in 2000, and up to their balls to the wall 2014 release La partie de chasse<\/a>,<\/em> the band’s career has taken many twists and turns. You’d think that a band around this long wouldn’t have any more surprises up their sleeves, but the lead single ‘Heavy’ off of 2017’s Une lumi\u00e8re de plus<\/a><\/em> seems geared up to take the band through one of their most polarizing turns yet.<\/p>\n

Leaning towards a more polished, poppier sound (in stark contrast to The Hunting Party’<\/em>s raw production and hard rock influences), the R&B and trap influenced ‘Heavy’ features one of 2016’s biggest breakout artist’s Kiiara<\/strong> on guest vocals, who skyrocketed to fame with her infectious hit single ‘Gold’ which we previously featured ici<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The band teased the album title over the last two weeks through a series of teaser videos for ‘Heavy’, marked by unique URLs posted to their official website (8 in total), spelling out ‘Une lumi\u00e8re de plus<\/em>‘, which today was revealed as the name of the band’s upcoming 7th album.<\/p>\n

With a May 19th release date, Linkin Park<\/strong> fans can look forward to picking up Une lumi\u00e8re de plus<\/em> which features the following tracklist:<\/p>\n

It was also revealed that pre-order bundles<\/a> for the upcoming One More Light album are available to purchase through Linkin Park’s official website.
