Big Grams<\/span>, the new collaborative project from Outkast’s\u00a0Big Boi<\/span> and\u00a0Phantogram<\/span>, have released \u201cGoldmine Junkies\u201d, their third single off their debut self-titled EP set to release on September 25th.<\/span><\/p>\n

The two forces initially announced their collaboration back in Spring of 2014. The album is also set to have appearances from Run the Jewels and Skrillex.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Big Boi shared how the two came about with\u00a0Rolling Stone<\/a>,<\/p>\n

I linked up with Phantogram\u00a0and it was just the chemistry while I was in L.A.\u00a0I switched gears after we came off the Outkast tour, like, ‘Why don’t we put the [collaborative] record together?’ We started working on it and it was like, ‘Holy shit.’ Why don’t we do this first?”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Big Boi has been a legend in the hip hop world over the two decades, both individually and as half of the iconic hip-hop<\/a> duo, Outkast. Big Boi<\/a>\u00a0recently wrapped up an Outkast reunion tour with Andre 3000.<\/p>\n

Phantogram is an electronic duo from New York and consists of Josh Carter (vocals\/guitars) and Sarah Barthel (vocals\/keyboard). Last year, Phantogram<\/a> released their second album, Voices via Republic Records which received overall positive reviews from critics.<\/p>\n

Phantogram previously had a guest appearance<\/a> on Big Boi’s 2012 album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.<\/p>\n

The group also recently did an AMA on Reddit<\/a>, answering several questions ranging from their inspirations to the process of putting together their upcoming EP.<\/p>\n

The group is expected to go on tour, no release dates have been announced yet.<\/p>\n
