Lights<\/strong><\/a>, the alt-pop artist known for tracks such as “Giants” and “Savage,” has released a new song called “Prodigal Daughter.” <\/span><\/h4>\n

The track is from her yet-to-be-titled new album, slated to drop in 2022. Recently, Lights has worked with deadmau5<\/a><\/strong>, ILLENIUM<\/strong>, Travis Barker<\/strong>, and others, but she’s back with her own material now, and it’s hotter than ever!<\/span><\/p>\n

In promoting the new track she shared, <\/span>“‘Prodigal Daughter’ is about stripping away all the deep-seated, oppressive expectations society and religion can place on you, in order to find out what you really want out of your life. Musically, the song is dynamic and wild, beautifully gentle at times and aggressive at others, representing the journey. Ultimately this is a banger about finding yourself.”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

She also revealed “The Clinic,” a new side story based on her Skin&Earth comics series. Fans can read the first six pages of the tale at <\/span>www.visittheclinic.com<\/span><\/a>, written and illustrated exclusively by Lights herself.<\/span><\/p>\n
