IMMINENCE<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u2014<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>vocalist and violinist Eddie Berg, guitarists Harald Barrett and Alex Arnoldsson, drummer Peter Hanstr\u00f6m, and bass player Christian H\u00f6ijer \u2014have released the video for their new single “<\/span>Fant\u00f4me<\/span><\/b>,” a psychedelic and supernatural cinematic experience that flirts with the occult and explores the darkest corners of the mind.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Ghost” follows “<\/span>Heaven In Hiding<\/span><\/a>,” which instantly became the fastest growing release in the band’s history, an accolade previously held by the May 2021-released track “<\/span>Temptation<\/span><\/a>.” Once again, the group displays its\u00a0unrestrained, diverse, and dynamic approach with “‘<\/span>Fant\u00f4me<\/span><\/a>.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Director\u00a0<\/span>Pavel Trebukhin<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>et\u00a0<\/span>IMMINENCE\u00a0<\/span><\/b>have invested more time and effort than ever on the video production, ensuring the viewer experiences a completely new level of artistic storytelling by continuing to raise the bar for themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new single is a hard-hitting fireball, mixing influences that haven’t been heard from the band since their breakthrough 2015 single “<\/span>The Sickness<\/span><\/a>.” It also features an unmistakable violin performance by singer<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Berg.<\/span><\/p>\n

“‘Ghost’\u00a0is a perfect example of how the creative flow in Imminence just knows no boundaries,” says Barrett. “We don’t follow trends or try to fit our art into a format; rather, we’re always eager to explore the unexpected.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The new single was recorded, mixed, and mastered in Sweden by Henrik Udd, an award-winning producer that has worked on some of the most critically acclaimed albums by\u00a0acts such as Architects, Bring Me the Horizon, and At the Gates.<\/span><\/p>\n

Imminence also announced a European headline tour taking place in 19 cities during February and March 2022. These will be the band’s\u00a0biggest headline shows to date.<\/span><\/p>\n

Imminence formed in the southern most part of Sweden and have over the years become one of the country’s most promising acts with a diverse sound and universe, embracing everything from metalcore to acoustic sounds. Founded in 2010 by Berg and Barrett when they were just teenagers, the band grew organically with a constantly expanding fanbase all over the world while touring actively in Europe since the release of the band’s breakthrough single “The Sickness”(2015).
