{"id":11323,"date":"2018-09-03T17:48:36","date_gmt":"2018-09-03T21:48:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.altwire.net\/?p=11323"},"modified":"2023-12-06T06:40:11","modified_gmt":"2023-12-06T11:40:11","slug":"2018-angry-orchard-rock-the-roots-tour-recap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/altwire.net\/fr\/recapitulatif-de-la-tournee-2018-de-angry-orchard-rock-the-roots\/","title":{"rendered":"R\u00e9capitulatif de la tourn\u00e9e Angry Orchard Rock the Roots 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2018 Rock the Roots Tour by Angry Orchard kicked off on June 30th, covering 11 cities across the country and I had the privilege to catch it in my hometown of Orlando, Florida!<\/p>\n<p>This year the tour was headlined by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/altwire.net\/fr\/sublime-avec-rome-saint-augustin-2\/\">Sublime with Rome<\/a><\/strong>, along with<strong> Lupe Fiasco<\/strong>, <strong>New Politics<\/strong>,<strong> Pepper<\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/altwire.net\/fr\/recapitulatif-collie-buddz\/\">Collie Buddz<\/a><\/strong> and many more while in addition to local and regional artists.<\/p>\n<p>The Orlando, FL stop of the fest did not disappoint. Its family style atmosphere made for a very pleasant experience where those who just wanted to relax while enjoying some great music could sit on the lawn, play some games, or enjoy some delicious food and Angry Orchard Cider.<\/p>\n<p>Naples, Florida based<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/altwire.net\/fr\/entretien-avec-altwire\/\">SOWFLO<\/a><\/strong>, opened up the night covering classic reggae hits, whilst also showcasing some of their originals. They truly showed us what Florida reggae is all about!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Collie Buddz<\/strong>, contributed to the tour in support of his latest single, \u201cLove and Reggae.\u201d He brought his good vibes to the set including classic hits like \u201cGimme Love\u201d and \u201cBlind to You\u201d, which he closed his set with.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Politics<\/strong> was a personal highlight for me as their set included their hits \u201cDignity\u201d, closing with \u201cHarlem\u201d and\u00a0 \u201cYeah, Yeah, Yeah\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lupe Fiasco<\/strong> reminded the fans of the responsibility that comes with purchasing their ticket. He performed some of his hits which included \u201cOutta My Head\u201d and just before he was about to close his set with \u201cThe Show Goes On\u201d, we were once again reminded that we were in Florida, as a thunderstorm approached. While this was a rain or shine event, safety precautions were taken by pausing the show until the storm passed. Lupe prompted the hesitant fans to leave while security led everyone indoors for about 20 minutes or so.<\/p>\n<p>Once the storm passed the show went on as planned, with the headliners,<strong> Sublime with Rome<\/strong>.
