Flight of the Conchords announced a reunion tour taking flight June 2016, confirming new material has been written and will be ‘showcas[ed] on the road’ as per their Facebook <\/a>status. The North American tour will be their first in three years.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m thrilled to get back on the road with over half the original band,”<\/em>\u00a0Bret McKenzie jokes, one part to the comedic duo with Jemaine Clement. The pair anticipates Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Newport Folk Festival and the NYC Summer Stage as highlight stops, the tour kicking off in Cleveland, Ohio. Their final stop is Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n

Last fans heard new material from Flight of the Conchords was in 2009 with\u00a0I Told You I Was Freaky,\u00a0<\/em>their first and self-titled album just a year younger from 2008. In 2012, they had a ten-show run in New Zealand, each date sold out within ten minutes.<\/p>\n
