Deftones are set to release their eighth album this April,\u00a0the\u00a0long rumored title confirmed as SANGRE<\/em>. The upcoming album is\u00a0building anticipation after four long years for fans, recent teasers released by the band on social media-\u00a0the album cover a photo game on their Instagram and teasers of what is now\u00a0known as\u00a0“Prayers\/Triangles.”<\/em><\/p>\n

The teaser released hours ago featuring a longer preview and clearer sound is currently a dead link in the news outlets, the song nowhere to be found on any of Deftones’ pages; the wipe out likely for\u00a0the premiere now scheduled for hoy<\/strong>,\u00a0February 4th at 9:30am PST, Zane Lowe to reveal the full single AQU\u00cd<\/a>\u00a0on Beats 1.<\/p>\n

A select amount of tour dates were\u00a0announced\u00a0earlier this year, a short tour in Texas following their headliner for MusInk Festival in California, only two other states to catch their set before Deftones head to Europe. Most recently, frontman Chino Moreno<\/a> es quoted<\/a> to have recently told Kerrang!:<\/p>\n

“The heavier stuff is a little faster, and the more quaint stuff is a little more lush. It\u2019s extreme in both directions. It\u2019s not happy-sounding. We\u2019ve been enjoying our lives and it\u2019s not coming from a place of anger, or depression, or anything like that. But there\u2019s darker content on it.”<\/em><\/p>\n
