{"id":5191,"date":"2015-04-23T20:06:20","date_gmt":"2015-04-24T00:06:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.altwire.net\/?p=5191"},"modified":"2023-12-06T06:36:58","modified_gmt":"2023-12-06T11:36:58","slug":"papa-roach-premieres-gravity-video-featuring-maria-brink","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/altwire.net\/es\/papa-roach-premieres-gravity-video-featuring-maria-brink\/","title":{"rendered":"Papa Roach estrena el videoclip de \u201cGravity\u201d con la participaci\u00f3n de Maria Brink"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/altwire.net\/es\/ten-tasty-riffs-papa-roach\/\">Papa cucaracha<\/a> and Billboard premiered the music video for <em>&#8220;Gravity&#8221; <\/em>off their latest album <em>F.E.A.R (Face Everything and Rise), <\/em>the song of a dysfunctional relationship a duet featuring In This Moment&#8217;s Maria Brink.<\/p>\n<p>On the inspiration behind the song, front-man Jacoby Shaddix tells <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rock\/papa-roach-gravity-video-exclusive-6538933\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-lasso-id=\"849\" rel=\"noopener\" data-old-href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rock\/papa-roach-gravity-video-exclusive-6538933\/\" data-old->Cartelera<\/a> it&#8217;s his <em>&#8220;testament to show other couples who may be going through a damaged relationship that they can get through it. My wife is my gravity&#8230; straight up.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Brink came to guest on vocals as Papa Roach and In This Moment happened to be in the same studio during the recording for <em>F.E.A.R, <\/em>bassist Tobin Esperance calling their guest as &#8216;perfect.&#8217; <em>&#8220;Maria is just stunning,&#8221; <\/em>says director Ezio Lucido, <em>&#8220;the spectacle follows her wherever she goes, onstage or off, because of the power of her presence.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Lucido brought forth the sense of gravity without it a literal representation throughout the video by filming in Theatre Deville among one hundred fifty hanging light-bulbs with the band&#8217;s hanging backdrop.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We also wanted to be random at times in video, with portrait-style imagery&#8230; like with the heart in Jacoby&#8217;s hand at the end. I think that complemented some of the mystery in the video well. Even though we have these two identical rooms where one is flipped and charred, we didn&#8217;t overdo the reveal of that, so the viewer can sort of define things for themselves.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Papa Roach tour this fall with Five Finger Death Punch and you can vote for which cities the groups should tour.
