Following his just-concluded, wildly successful UK arena tour, Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer\u00a0Alice\u00a0Cooper\u00a0<\/strong>has\u00a0announced his Spring\u00a02020\u00a0tour plans. He will extend\u00a0the\u00a0“Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back<\/strong>” show, which\u00a0debuted in Summer 2019 to the delight of fans, into the new year.\u00a0The Spring 2020\u00a0leg\u00a0of the tour kicks off on April 1 in Peterborough, Ontario and runs through April 22 in Portland, Oregon. These dates will feature special guest\u00a0Lita Ford<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The legendary rocker\u00a0will also return to\u00a0the road for the Fall 2019 leg of the tour. The trek begins on\u00a0November 3 in Florida before wrapping on November 30 in Illinois.<\/p>\n

After a break for the holiday season, Alice\u00a0will take “Ol’\u00a0Black Eyes Is Back”\u00a0to Australia and New Zealand in February 2020.<\/p>\n

In other Alice Cooper news, the artist\u00a0released his\u00a0The Breadcrumbs<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>EP,\u00a0a tribute to some of the garage rock heroes from his hometown Detroit, on September 13 via earMUSIC.\u00a0Inspired by the city’s punk scene in the late ’60s\u00a0and early ’70s, the\u00a0Detroit-born icon\u00a0returned\u00a0to his roots and the raw garage sound his fans love.\u00a0The Bob Ezrin-produced\u00a0EP consists of six\u00a0brand new recordings, featuring legendary\u00a0Detroit musicians, including Johnny “Bee”\u00a0Badanjek from the Detroit Wheels, Grand Funk’s Mark Farner, and MC5’s Wayne Kramer. It\u00a0was recorded at Rust Belt Studios in\u00a0Detroit.\u00a0The opener\u00a0“Detroit City 2020<\/strong>” is\u00a0an updated rewrite of “Detroit City”\u00a0from 2003’s\u00a0The Eyes of Alice Cooper<\/em>\u00a0and it\u00a0sets the tone for the EP. Along with Cooper’s\u00a0own take on Detroit\u00a0rock classics such as Suzi Quatro’s\u00a0“Your Mama Won’t Like Me<\/strong>,”\u00a0Bob Seger’s “East Side Story<\/strong>,”\u00a0the MC5’s “Sister Anne<\/strong>,”\u00a0and Shorty Long’s “Devil With a\u00a0Blue Dress On<\/strong>,”\u00a0as well as The Dirtbombs’\u00a0“Chains of Love<\/strong>,”\u00a0the EP also features the brand-new Alice Cooper original “Go Man Go<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n
