The Monterey County Fairgrounds is the place to be for the annual California Roots Festival<\/a>, a Mecca for every reggae fan! The 3-Day event that occurs every year around Memorial Day weekend brings an all-star lineup along with the best of the best in the local and regional scene.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The headliners this year are:<\/span><\/p>\n

Stick Figure<\/strong> – 5\/24<\/span><\/p>\n

Slightly Stoopid<\/a><\/strong> – 5\/25<\/span><\/p>\n

Rebelution<\/strong> 5\/26<\/span><\/p>\n

As a Florida girl, I\u2019m very excited about the acoustic lineup that features Orlando\u2019s very own Beebs<\/strong> (Of Beebs and her Money Makers<\/strong>) and Kash\u2019d Out<\/strong>!  The team from Kulchashok Muzik will be setting up their booth so make sure you stop by and check out their Irie merch. <\/span><\/p>\n

This year marks the 10 year anniversary and in light of that, Pepper<\/strong> will be doing a meet and greet at the LAW Records booth, as they\u2019re releasing their Local Roots<\/em> vinyl with 3 unreleased songs. This is a gem that will only be available at the fest so if you\u2019re attending, be there on Friday from 2-3PM to purchase it hang out with the band. <\/span><\/p>\n
