LA alternative metal band\u00a0Gemini Syndrome<\/strong>\u00a0have just announced that after a lengthy, multi-year absence from touring that they will be returning to the road this summer. The band will be joined by\u00a0A Killer\u2019s Confession<\/strong>,\u00a0Ovtlier<\/strong>, Und\u00a0Pushing Veronica<\/strong>. Also added to a select number of shows will be\u00a0Eva unter Beschuss<\/a><\/strong>. All tour dates are listed below.<\/p>\n

The band will be touring in support of their recently released videos and singles\u00a0\u201cDie With Me\u201d, \u201cIDK\u201d, \u201cReintegration\u201d<\/strong>, and their forthcoming new studio album.<\/p>\n

Gemini Syndrome have recently released their new track and music video for \u201cDie With Me<\/strong>\u201d via Century Media. The track has recently entered the Active Rock radio charts, and sets the stage for the band\u2019s new album (their 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0overall) which is scheduled to be released later this year. \u201c23, Shakespeare, The divine wedding of yin and yang\u2026 \u2018Die With Me\u2019 is an invitation for the listener to come along on the journey of self-discovery with us, which ultimately leads to the death of the lower self and the resurrection of the higher self. Lao Tzu said, \u2018The one created the two, the two created the three, and then came the 10,000 things.\u2019 \u00a02 and 3 respectively correspond to the male and female energies. 2 being a single line and 3 being a triangle or vessel. Therefore 23 signifies the merging of the seemingly opposite energies of male and female,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>states Gemini Syndrome vocalist\u00a0Aaron Nordstrom<\/strong>\u00a0about the newest release.<\/p>\n

Gemini Syndrome drummer\u00a0Brian Steele Medina<\/strong>\u00a0adds, \u201cIn our life we have many deaths, and many reincarnations, and these experiences transform us into a more complete version of our true self\u2026 Though while we\u2019re going\u00a0through it, it\u2019s often uncomfortable, painful, and we tend to avoid these spiritual growth spurts because we\u2019re more comfortable sitting in our pain and shit, than walking through\u00a0it. So, after we\u2019ve walked through enough of these challenges, we might seek out that person, or tribe whose combined experience could help each other traverse that path to\u00a0transmutation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cOur video for \u2018Die With Me\u2019 is designed for the watcher to be exposed to certain signs and symbols and evoke a spiritual experience.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0continues Medina.\u00a0\u201cIt depicts a young initiate performing a\u00a0ritual at her sacred altar. The blindfold symbolizes that her quest for truth must begin within. She contemplates time, and she laments death and learns that time is an illusion.\u00a0She scribes the language of her heart as she cries out to the Universe, (Uni-Verse = The One Song.)\u00a0And we\u2019re all dead, so that\u2019s cool too.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201e<\/em><\/strong>The video for \u2018Die With Me\u2019 shows a different side of death than we\u2019ve shown before. Even though we\u2019re all fatally wounded in some way, we\u2019re still performing and extending\u00a0our invitation. Maybe the girl is performing a ritual to help our souls cross the river styx?\u00a0Or to keep us animated in our now, dead state<\/em>,\u201d adds Nordstrom about the \u201cDie With Me\u201d music video.<\/p>\n

Gemini Syndrome spent the better part of 2018-2019 writing the final installment of their long planned three album trilogy. They retreated to drummer Brian Steele Medina\u2019s Las Vegas home studio, where they meticulously crafted song after song, relentlessly reworking and rearranging the musical arrangements until they were fully satisfied. After an exhaustive writing process, Gemini Syndrome relocated to Good Sounds Studio in Tempe AZ, where producer Matt Good would help realize the collection of songs. Medina recalls,\u00a0\u201cWe absolutely loved working with Matt and he completely understood where we wanted to take this album creatively and what it was going to take to bring the third chapter of this trilogy to light. Our actual collective blood, sweat and tears went into its creation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cDie With Me\u201d follows the release of \u201cIDK<\/strong>" Und "Reintegration<\/strong>\u201d and is the band\u2019s first new music since the release of their sophomore album\u00a0Memento Mori<\/em>\u00a0(2016), which hit #1 on Billboard Heatseakers Chart<\/strong>\u00a0and spawned five singles: \u201cEternity<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cAnonymous<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cAlive<\/strong>\u00a0Inside<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cSorry<\/strong>\u00a0Not<\/strong>\u00a0Sorry<\/strong>\u201d, and \u201cRemember<\/strong>\u00a0We<\/strong>\u00a0Die<\/strong>\u201d.
