Le Bataclan, the Paris venue that was at the center of the November 13 Paris terror attacks, is set to reopen later this year. The Libertines’ Pete Doherty is set to play one of the first shows at the venue on November 16, nearly a year to the day since the terror attacks occurred at Le Bataclan’s Eagles of Death Metal show.

In a Facebook post, the managers of Le Bataclan released a statement detailing the upcoming renovations to the venue. “The work of renovation of the Bataclan have started. They consist of the rehabilitation of all the infrastructure and facilities. We’re going to try to preserve its warmth and friendliness.”

The venue has not yet announced an exact date for the Bataclan’s reopening, or if Doherty will actually be the first artist to take the reopened stage. As of now, Doherty’s show is followed by Senegalese artist Youssou D’Nour on November 18, alt-rockย mainstaysย Nada Surf on December 2, and French act MZ on December 3. More shows are to be announced within the next few days.

No word yet if Eagles of Death Metal will be returning to perform at Le Bataclan, though the band has stated numerous times that they want to return and finish the set that was tragically cut short.
